Artists spotlight: Production Designer Abir Jamal
This week, we are shining a spotlight on Lebanese Art Director Abir Jamal, whose work you have probably already seen in several Lebanese & Arab television shows and movies!
Abir Jamal wears many hats. After earning her BA in Interior Architecture from the Lebanese American University, she worked for a decade as an Interior architect and designer. She then dove into the world of art direction and has since made her way into many beloved local and international shows like “Rain over Beirut” (2021), “2020” (2021), “Ma Fiyi” (2019-2020), “Khamsa W Nos” (2019), and “Ghannoujet Baya” (2016). She is a dedicated artist and master producer, creating authentic and beautiful sets and infusing them with her unique artistic touch.
