Tips to organize your winter closet
For those of us who love cold-weather clothes, it’s finally time! The days are getting cooler and the hoodies are coming out of hiding.
It’s also time to bring out the winter clothes and put away the summer ones. But there are things you can do to make sure everything about your wardrobe is optimized! Read on for some tips on reorganizing your closet for winter:
1- Review All of Your Clothes.
Take each piece and give it a thought. Do you wear it often? Does it still fit? Does it need mending? Make sure that each piece you put away is in good enough condition.
2- A spot for Sweaters and Knits. Everything that needs hanging should be hanged, and the rest should be folded and piled up neatly for proper storing.
3- Store Coats and Cold Weather Accessories Elsewhere. Coats, scarves, beanies, gloves, all of these cold-weather accessories are better off in a space of their own.
4- Use Cubbies for Hiding Spring and Summer Shoes. They take away space and will not be needed for months!
5- Use Hooks to Hang Jewelry, Scarves and Other Accessories. They can fit neatly into a closet or behind a door!
So let’s get ready for the cold season with a closet full of clean, neat clothes!
