As the Coronavirus continues to rapidly spread throughout Lebanon, reaching spiking and alarming numbers, the Lebanese government has issued a total lockdown over a period of one month.
But in the midst of an economic crisis, and the lack of governmental support to the people, how are the Lebanese citizens’ surviving?
With a large number of Lebanese citizens depending on daily work to make money, the 2 month long lockdown left them with one concern: How are we going to survive hunger and poverty?
After the government had promised financial support of 400,000 LBP, equivalent to less than $50, but the people in need have not received anything yet.
